Bio:

Heather joined Christian Family Solutions in 2020. She earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, and her MA in Counseling Psychology from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN.

Heather works with adults using a balanced, whole-person approach that integrates the biological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of each individual. She draws from a blend of evidence-based techniques, including Integrative and Somatic Therapy—emphasizing the mind-body connection; Narrative Therapy—to help reframe personal stories in empowering ways that build agency and self-worth; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—to address negative thought patterns and behaviors; and Spiritual Interventions—to explore faith, values, and meaning/purpose.

Heather believes therapy should be client-directed, focusing on what matters most to each individual at a pace that feels right to them. As a clinical supervisor, she is committed to teaching ethics and compassion in clinical practice, guiding emerging clinicians to grow in both skill and character as they serve others.
