Minn. – (2023) – Shiromi Beach, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, is the new program manager for CFS Day Treatment for Teens at the Minnesota location of Christian Family Solutions Counseling Care & Services. The Day Treatment for Teens program provides intensive treatment to effectively manage depression, anxiety, trauma, or other serious mental health conditions.
Beach comes to CFS from private practice. Prior to that, she spent seven years working in adolescent partial hospitalization programming. She has five years of management experience with the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate of Concordia University-St. Paul.
Day Treatment for Teens is a community-based program offered at the CFS Mankato location. The program offers at least 15 hours of treatment five days per week with the accountability of a group setting. Enrolled clients receive treatment while remaining in their homes and communities. Community-based day treatment can be an important step before hospitalization or residential care is needed, or for those stepping down from hospitalization or residential care.
