Christian Family Solutions recently teamed up with 98.5 KTIS Radio to support parents with teens who are struggling with the effects of isolation, virtual learning stress, and escalating mental health concerns.
In an interview with KTIS host Keith Stevens, Dr. Joshua Mears addressed the current challenges families are facing as the pandemic alters normal routines.
"Virtual school is placing great responsibility on children (and parents) to walk through all these assignments and timelines,” Dr. Mears told the audience. “It's a higher level of executive functioning ability, and it's not where these students are, neurologically and developmentally."
