Bio:

Rachel began her internship with Christian Family Solutions in May 2026 while pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Wisconsin. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Parish Music and a Master of Arts in Church Music from Concordia University Wisconsin.

Before entering the counseling field, Rachel served in women’s ministry and as a worship director for nearly fifteen years. Through these experiences, she developed a deep compassion for individuals seeking healing, hope, and wholeness in their lives. Her desire to walk alongside people through life’s challenges led her to pursue professional counseling and join the Christian Family Solutions team.

Rachel is passionate about using the gifts God has given her to serve others with the love and hope of Jesus. She believes her ministry experiences have prepared her for a different kind of ministry, one that helps individuals move toward greater emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

Rachel takes an integrative approach to counseling, drawing from a variety of evidence-based theories and techniques to best meet each client’s unique needs. She especially values person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. Her goal is to create a faith-centered, safe, and supportive environment where clients can experience compassionate care, healing, and growth.

Rachel is supervised by Matt Liebenow.
