A message from our CEO

Mark Klug is moving on to pursue other ministry endeavors

After nearly 10 years of service as CEO of Christian Family Solutions (CFS), Mark Klug is leaving to pursue other ministry opportunities. He shared this message with his CFS family, both employees and donors:

My heart is filled with gratitude, humility, and deep admiration for your unwavering commitment to the ministry and mission we share.

Over the years, I have been continually inspired by the exceptional care you provide for individuals and families in need. Through your training, supervision, inservices, and daily work, you have made it possible for thousands upon thousands—young and old—to find hope and healing through Christian counseling. You have brought light into some of the darkest moments in people’s lives and extended a lifeline to those struggling with mental health challenges and addictions. Your faithfulness in this important vocation has helped draw many closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ.

The growth we’ve experienced as an organization has not only been structural—it has been deeply spiritual. Each new service, expansion, and initiative has made a meaningful impact on the lives we touch. For those seeking a Christ-centered alternative to secular therapy, your work has been transformational. Our measured outcomes and growing body of research affirm what we already knew by faith: that the care you provide in Christ’s name has eternal value.

It has truly been one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk this journey with you. Together, we have built more than a ministry—we have built a movement. One rooted in Scripture, lived out with integrity, and grounded in service to others.

As I step away from this role, I pray earnestly that each of you continues to grow in faith. The ripple effect of your commitment to Christ extends far beyond your clients. It reaches families, churches, workplaces, and entire communities. Never underestimate the eternal significance of your obedience and the power of your example.

Please continue to be hopeful in this journey. Our loving Father is ever-present—guiding, protecting, and providing for us, even when we do not see it. In a world full of brokenness, people are searching for truth, often in their most vulnerable moments. That’s when you step in—not only as counselors and professionals—but as vessels of God’s mercy and grace. The kind of Christian counseling you provide—with strength, compassion, and conviction—is as needed now as it has ever been.

As the psalmist reminds us:
“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” – Psalm 121:8

Let this promise sustain you on difficult days and uplift you in moments of joy.

As I close this chapter, I do so with appreciation of the CFS Board and the leadership/management throughout CFS and the many faithful hands continuing this mission. And even more, you are all in God’s hands!
