Please join us as we recognize the retirement of Pastor James Mattek from ministry.
Pastor James Mattek has used his gifts faithfully in ministry and has been a gift to many people. You can honor God’s gift of Pastor Mattek with a gift to help other pastors and teachers in ministry.
In honor of his retirement, Pastor Mattek and his wife Sue, together with the board and staff of Christian Family Solutions, have committed gifts to fund counseling hours for called workers and their families. Over the years, CFS counselors have provided thousands of hours of Christian counseling to pastors and teachers in need of support. Pastor and Sue want to ensure that pastors and teachers have access to Christ-centered counseling that provides true healing, help, and hope.
About Pastor Mattek and his ministry
Pastor James Mattek has served WLCFS-Christian Family Solutions since 2004. Prior to Christian Family Solutions, Pastor Mattek was a parish pastor serving congregations in Watertown, WI and Findlay, OH. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, WI and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College, Watertown, WI.
Pastor Mattek and his wife Sue currently live in Green Bay, WI. They have been blessed with four children and 9 grandchildren.
