A DBT Based Skills Group for Adults

This DBT based IOP is appropriate for individuals 21+ who are:  

  • Struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or other challenging symptoms related to trauma
  • Stepping down from hospitalization or inpatient settings, seeking to continue progress in their treatment
  • Stepping up from weekly outpatient counseling sessions, because symptoms are not improving

More about our DBT based IOP for adults

  • Three-hour group sessions, held four days per week. Maximum group size is 8 members. Average group size is 4. Patients participating virtually will be admitted to a group.
  • Multiple therapists share their expertise during group sessions. 
  • This program is primarily DBT based and includes a variety of other treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapy and supportive counseling.
  • Evidence-based counseling techniques are integrated with a Christian perspective to support patients both emotionally and spiritually in a culturally competent way. 
  • Case management services are provided, including discharge planning. 
  • A 24-hour crisis line is available.
