Blue Butterfly Thrift Store

About Blue Butterfly Thrift Store

The mission of Blue Butterfly Thrift Store is to provide good values for life

This mission refers to the quality merchandise customers will find in the store, as well as its overall charitable mission. Proceeds from the store’s sales support three area non-profits: the Alpha Resource Center, Christian Family Solutions and Tomorrow’s Choice Family Resource Center. Each of these organizations places a high value on a flourishing life for all individuals, from the unborn to the most seasoned citizens.

Why Blue Butterfly?

The name Blue Butterfly was chosen because the butterfly symbolizes life, joy, change and hope. The Blue Butterfly Thrift Store wishes to be all these things for the community we serve and create a positive warm environment for volunteers and those who shop with us.

Blue Butterfly is accepting donations of clothing, antiques, toys, and household items that are clean, in working order, and in good condition. Donations can be brought during store hours

Other Ways To Help

In addition to quality merchandise, the Blue Butterfly celebrates community service and volunteerism. The store is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, and will serve as a hub for other quality-of-life volunteer opportunities with the sponsoring organizations. Store volunteers help with receiving, sorting, pricing, merchandising, cashiering, and more. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Store Manager Ashley Wenninger at 262-207-4889 by email at, or stop by the store during business hours.
