Wendy joined Christian Family Solutions in Nov 2022. She strongly believes in client-centered therapy - building on each client’s strengths and teaching them important life skills such as interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and self-advocacy. Wendy's worked in various mental health and substance abuse settings over the past 25+ years, including residential, hospital, county outpatient, and in-home, providing individual and group therapies and case management. She's grateful to be able to integrate a faith-based approach into the care she provides at CFS.
Wendy earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2021. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Substance Abuse Counseling from Northern Michigan University in 2001.
