I joined Christian Family Solutions in Nov 2022. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2021. Prior to that I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Substance Abuse Counseling from Northern Michigan University in 2001.
For the past 25 years, I have worked in various mental health and substance abuse setting, including residential, hospital, county outpatient, and in-home, providing individual/group therapies, and case management.
I strongly believe in client centered therapy and building on the client’s strengths and teaching them important life skills such as interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and self-advocacy. I am excited to be able expand on my current therapy knowledge and experience by being able to provide therapy for clients from a faith-based approach.
