Bio:

Teri joined Christian Family Solutions in July 2019. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University in Eagan, MN in 2009. Prior to that she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Winona State University in 2004.

For the past 10 years, Teri’s work experience includes working with offenders and their families in the Twin Cities area, creating and building a private practice for 4 years in and around the Rochester area, and another 4½ years in a Rochester agency.

Teri is married to her husband of 18 years, and they have 3 children. Teri volunteers in their local church and children’s school with their school and sport activities, women’s Bible study, giving presentations on mental health issues, and continuing her training and areas of specialty in healing relational trauma, marital and couple’s therapy, and building and maintaining healthy relationships across a wide spectrum of issues.

Teri is passionate about people and believes that God’s love for all his children is remarkable and astounding. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” When God’s people come to the knowledge of their value and the love Christ has for them, there is a peace beyond understanding.

Christ’s love for her and all people has created a passion in Teri for helping others. Jesus says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
