Bio:

Sheryl joined Christian Family Solutions in 2006. She has more than 25 years of experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents and adults. She is Board Certified as a Professional Christian Counselor, Expert in Traumatic Stress and in Tele-Mental Health.

Sheryl is the recipient of the 2024 Fred Matzke Award for Excellence in Faith Integration. The award was established to recognize a counselor or staff member at CFS who is dedicated to providing evidence-based counseling care that is effectively and appropriately integrated with principles of the Christian faith.

Sheryl graduated with honors from UW-Green Bay in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in human development, including an emphasis on family studies. She was nominated for the award for the outstanding graduate of the year. Sheryl earned her master’s degree from UW-Milwaukee in 1993, in addition to a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1994.
