Ryley Schetter

Working with elementary school clients on anxiety, depression, transition, interpersonal conflict, communication and adjustment.

Bio:

Ryley joined Christian Family Solutions in September of 2023.

Ryley attained her degree from Concordia University, Wisconsin and graduated with a master's degree in professional counseling, and completed her internship with AMRI Counseling in Milwaukee. From September of 2022 through August of 2023 she lived in the Philippines as an evangelist with Friends Network serving with a Lutheran church in Novaliches.

Jesus tells us; In this world we will have trouble but to take heart because He has overcome the world. (John 16:33) We are all sinful and in need of a Savior. Through counseling, Ryley works to help clients identify where the root of their trouble is. She establishes a comfortable space so clients can safely share how they feel, which allows them to work together in finding healing solutions. As children of God we receive peace and forgiveness from our Savior and no one is too far away to receive His love. Using counseling education, evidence-based practices and encouragement from scripture, Ryley works to provide a safe place where clients can work through what they are going through and find healing.

Counseling approaches used most often in session are Strengths-Based counseling, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solution Focused, and Person-Centered therapy.
