Specializes in working with youth and adolescents who struggle with a variety of social issues, including anxiety, communication with peers, self-advocacy, and taking risks. Also specializes in performance enhancement work with high school and college athletes.

Bio:

Mary joined Christian Family Solutions in 2018. She received her BA in Psychology and Biology from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, and obtained her Ed.M. in Counseling and Sports Psychology from Boston University. She is an In-Training Counselor in the state of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Mary provided individual and group therapy to children and adolescents who struggled with social and physical communication and anxiety. By primarily using a CBT and person-centered model, she was able to work with children in learning how to take risks, cooperate with others, and learn self-advocacy. She has also worked with individuals ages 5-22 who benefit from therapy through physical activity. In addition, Mary has experience in providing counseling to college and high school athletes who desire to work on performance anxiety, goal-setting, and communication techniques.

Mary is eager to join the team at Christian Family Solutions to provide services to youth across the city of Milwaukee and allow them to express themselves and discover their own strengths.
