Bio:

Evelyn joined Christian Family Solutions in April 2024 as a Client Support Specialist and completed her counseling internship with CFS from 2024–2025. After earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 2025, she now practices as a Marriage and Family Therapist-In Training (MFT-IT) beginning in January 2026.

Evelyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and integrates her faith thoughtfully and ethically into the therapeutic process. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing her to support individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Evelyn has completed Levels 1 and 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses this evidence-based approach to help couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and deepen emotional connection. Her work is grounded in a relational understanding of healing, recognizing that growth often occurs within safe, supportive relationships. This aligns with 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, which speaks of God as the source of compassion and comfort and reflects the heart of Evelyn’s work in walking alongside clients through seasons of restoration and change.

Evelyn is passionate about integrating evidence-based practices with faith, viewing therapy as a collaborative and restorative process. Her therapeutic approach includes cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and faith-based integration, all tailored to meet each client’s unique needs within a safe and supportive environment.

She is supervised by Dr. Ashley Schoof.
