Key areas of focus on are high school students and adult clients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues, and burnout.
Austin joined Christian Family Solutions in 2023 as a Graduate Level Intern primarily out of the Germantown, WI location. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in psychology, and minoring in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin in plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Austin has an interest in counseling adolescents, specifically at a high school age, as well as adults dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues, and burnout. His current theoretical perspectives and realms of psychological interest are based primarily in the areas of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), wellness, and mindfulness. Austin is a firm advocate for individuals finding hobbies that they enjoy, especially ones in which the mind, body, and soul can all be integrated in the activity. He is excited to be able to integrate God’s Word into client care.
