Anita originally joined Christian Family Solutions in 2012. After 6 years she left to serve in Asia when her husband was called to serve as a missionary. She returns to CFS with new experiences and better understanding of cultural transitions.
She received her BA in Elementary Education from Concordia University, Chicago and her MS in Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Anita has over 20 years of teaching experience working with pre-school, elementary, adolescent, and college students. She has 16 years of counseling experience working with children, families, women, and college students. She has also been trained in adoption competent counseling as well as Prepare and Enrich for marriage counseling. In addition to her clinical work, Anita has also served as an adjunct instructor at Lutheran institutions and has led several workshops on various topics about marriage and families. She has been serving as Missions Counselor for Friends Network for the past three years working with missionaries in Asia.
