Angela Horneber

Bio:

Angela joined Christian Family Solutions as a graduate intern in May 2025. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Martin Luther College in 2014 and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bethany Lutheran College in 2026.

Before joining Christian Family Solutions, Angela served as an advisor to adolescents studying as international students in the United States, working with individuals from a wide variety of nationalities. She also spent several years living and teaching abroad as a missionary. These experiences have uniquely equipped her with compassion and insight for individuals from diverse backgrounds and those navigating challenging life transitions. Her work has given her experience with anxiety, stress management, adjustment difficulties, culture shock, and depression.

Angela is grateful to now be in a Christian counseling setting, where she integrates faith with evidence-based treatment methods, viewing each person through the lens of dignity and value as seen by Christ.

She strives to live by the promise of God:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
