Bio:

Andre Douglas is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who incorporates a holistic model of care, compassion and dignity while caring for patients. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS and MS in Education. After teaching in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, she graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master of Science in Nursing and pursued a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Seeing a greater need for and the healthcare disparity in psychiatric care amongst African Americans and people of color, Andre decided to obtain her Post Master’s Certification from Maryville University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in a variety of settings that included internal medicine, women’s health, FQHCs, and private practice. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and learning about different cultures. Andre is committed to breaking the stigma of mental health and looks forward to serving CFS patients.
