Amanda Cadwell joined Christian Family Solutions in 2014. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, a registered Telehealth Counselor for the states of South Carolina, Idaho, and Michigan. Amdanda also holds a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider credential, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional credential, and is a Prepare/Enrich premarital assessment facilitator. She also has specialized training in Sports Psychology related to athletes and coaches. Amanda currently works with individual teens and adults, couples, and families.
Amanda incorporates Scripture with behavioral therapies to emphasize wellness through mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual integration. Her therapeutic mission is to support and encourage positive change in clients through practical and realistic feedback and interventions. Her Christian counseling approach can be summed up by these biblical references: 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Romans 5:3-4.
Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Amanda worked for almost 10 years in the mental and behavioral health field helping children, teens, and adults with severe mental health issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. Amanda has completed an additional year of training in Sports Psychology through California Southern University.
During her counseling internship, Amanda was a counselor for the Idaho National Guard, providing therapy services to soldiers and their families. She also provided therapy to adults and couples in a community setting. Amanda is currently involved in coaching youth sports and applying her Sports Psychology knowledge with her the athletes she coaches.
Amanda currently sees clients through the Member Assistance Program (MAP) as well as Outpatient Telehealth services in Idaho, Minnesota and South Carolina.
