Alexandra joined Christian Family Solutions in 2023 as a counseling intern at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. She earned her BA in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI and will obtain her MS in professional counseling from Concordia University in December 2023.
Alexandra focuses on counseling adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, austism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT.) She has worked in various settings/populations as she strives to learn from clients from all walks of life.
Alexandra believes in the importance of having a creative approach for each client. She focuses on helping guide clients through life challenges by using empathy, validation, and psychoeducation. She uses a trauma-informed approach to ensure the safety and wellbeing of her clients. She believes that God chose her to become a counselor to guide others on their mental health journeys.
