God designed each of us uniquely, and our personalities are part of that design. How we each bring those gifts together in groups and teams is an important part of life as human beings. It also gives us the ability to work in vocations, or “callings,” throughout our life that help us grow in personal understanding and in becoming close to others. In this workshop, participants will increase their knowledge of their unique gifts and personality, understand how that interacts well in groups, and learn how to leverage love as the greatest reason for working together.

One of the major challenges facing our mental wellness often comes in our relation to others. Intimacy, or closeness, with other people comes in many forms and is easily put to the test. Human beings are built to be in relationship with others, and isolation or separation causes extreme emotional pain. In the Bible, the book of Hosea gives us a beautiful picture of how this intimacy is meant to be and how God provides us with the perfect plan based upon how he loves us. This workshop involves a modern dramatization video of the book of Hosea and a Bible study.

This is a shorter presentation that is perfect as an introduction or conclusion to a parents’ meeting or mother’s group, or as a devotion for a women’s Bible study or VBS session. In it we consider God’s Word and what he says about what is most important, most comforting, and most powerful for Christian mothers/parents to remember as they are raising their children.
