The first step to addressing a substance use concern is a Comprehensive Assessment.

For those who are eligible, the State of Minnesota pays for this assessment. 

The assessment will cover drug and alcohol use history, medical history, emotional health, home environment, and potential risk for relapse or continued substance use. The “Comprehensive Assessment” replaces the Rule 25 Assessment, plus it allows for immediate placement into treatment.  

Christian Family Solutions offers precise and thorough reports that lead to the discussion of the best treatment options. An assessor will provide guidance toward the appropriate level of care:  

• If inpatient treatment is required, we work with community partners to make the right referral. 
• If our Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program is the answer, we can immediately begin the intake process for admission. 
• If outpatient chemical dependency or mental health sessions are recommended, we can schedule immediately.
