Sarah joined Christian Family Solutions as an intern in 2016, and as an employee in 2017. She entered the counseling field as a second career after working in teaching and ministry. Sarah received degrees in music and general education from UW-Stevens Point and Aquinas College in Nashville, TN. She also received a Master’s in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas. Most recently, Sarah graduated with an MA in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University. She is currently a Professional Counselor (LPC-IT) in the state of Wisconsin.
Sarah specializes in providing trauma-informed counseling for children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional/behavioral struggles, depression, or anxiety. Sarah is a therapist in the STRONG day treatment program in urban Milwaukee and also works with Christian Family Solutions psychologists to provide psychometric testing.
Evangelism and mission work are close to Sarah’s heart, as she has spent many years in mission and ministry, primarily teaching and sharing the gospel with children and families. Sarah strives to share the same hope of the gospel with her clients at Christian Family Solutions, while integrating research-based counseling techniques.
