Marianne earned her BA in Psychology from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI, and her MSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Over the past four years, Marianne has experience working in various levels of care, including partial hospitalization with adults, outpatient therapy with children and adolescents, and in-home intensive therapy with children/adolescents and their families.

Marianne utilizes a systems approach in her practice, focusing not only on treating an individual’s symptoms but on recognizing and addressing factors such as home environment, academic functioning, family structure and relationships, and employment stressors.

Now that Marianne is working in a Christian setting, she also strives to apply God’s promises and teachings within her sessions. Marianne also utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, works with parents to optimize their behavioral strategies and relationships with their children, and enjoys incorporating creative play or art-based interventions. Marianne’s style is client-centered and focuses on building and preserving a strong therapeutic relationship with clients.
