Specializes in children, adolescents, and adults focusing on issues such as adoption, foster care, and trauma. Other areas of focus include women’s issues, spirituality, depression and anxiety.
Kristen joined Christian Family Solutions in 2021 as a graduate student intern. She earned her masters degree in Health Education from Carroll University in 2013 and is currently a student at UW-Milwaukee pursuing a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in trauma informed care. Kristen is also pursuing a certification from the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute and is also enrolled in the Training for Adoption Competency program at UWM.
Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Kristen was an intern at an outpatient private practice in Lake Country working with adolescents and adults. Kristen is a 21 year Veteran of the United States Navy serving as a Religious Program Specialist and has worked in the field of health and wellness for over 15 years. Kristen has also worked as an adjunct professor at Carroll University teaching in the Education and Exercise Science departments. She is excited to combine her training and experience to provide a holistic approach to therapy.
