He completed an undergrad internship in an outpatient clinic for adults and adolescents working to increase their sexual health, and a second undergrad internship at an adult day treatment program aimed at helping people with mental illness develop healthy lifestyles. Jesse gained crisis intervention and skills group facilitation experience as a Mental Health Associate in an inpatient mental health unit for adults and adolescents. His primary areas of clinical interest encompass trauma, grief and loss, sexual health, and serious and persistent mental illness.
Jesse’s Christian approach is to pray for God’s guidance on the counseling experience, in order to reflect a relationship with Jesus Christ for meaningful healing and spiritual peace.
