Bio:

Jennifer joined Christian Family Solutions in 2014. She received her BS in Psychology from Bethany Lutheran College, and her MS in Mental Health Counseling and her Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2015, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her dissertation was a phenomenological examination of the experience of counseling for women with addiction. Jennifer has experience as an individual and group therapist at inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers as well as in private practice. Jennifer has experience teaching an undergraduate class on career and decision making and specializes in career counseling in addition to her mental health counseling work.

 

In addition to her clinical work, Jennifer also teaches as an adjunct professor for Master’s-level counseling students at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her research specialty is in counseling women, and she has co-authored a textbook chapter on the topic and is currently working on other journal article publications. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the National Association of Counselor Educators.
