Jenny joined Christian Family Solutions in 2020. She earned her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, and her BA in General Management and minors in Music, Arts Management and Spanish from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Jenny provided individual and group therapy for adults, adolescents, and children during her clinical practicum at three diverse sites: a residential facility in Milwaukee, a community walk-in center in the city of Waukesha, and a private practice in Waukesha county.
Jenny believes humility, honesty, and honor are essential to the counseling process and to clients’ growth. She strives to empathetically partner with clients where they experience healthy connection and change and gain transformative insight and tools. Her approach is person and relationally-centered, and strengths-based within a Christ-like framework. She also often uses creative arts/expressive approaches in counseling. To use an analogy, Jenny’s approach to counseling is to provide a ‘greenhouse’ space where problems and strengths are addressed, growth occurs, change develops, and hope and love takes root.
