Jayne received her BS in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, with studies focusing on educating children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She completed post-graduate work in child development, and received a certification in early childhood education at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Jayne taught for over 15 years at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels.
Jayne completed her field experience in Christian Family Solution’s School-Based Counseling program, and obtained her Master’s in Counseling from Concordia University in 2019.
In both individual and group therapy, Jayne focuses on finding and utilizing strengths to build resilience and coping skills in her clients. Jayne has special interest and experience in working with children and adolescents who have anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and academic and learning issues. Jayne’s education and experience also allows her to assist parents in establishing and maintaining positive and developmentally appropriate expectations and boundaries for their children.
