Specializes in counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
Amanda Cadwell joined Christian Family Solutions in 2014. She is a licensed professional counselor in Idaho and Minnesota, and also holds a distance counselor credential. Amanda currently works with individual teens and adults, as well as couples. Amanda incorporates Scripture with behavioral therapies to emphasize wellness through mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual integration. Her therapeutic mission is to support and encourage positive change in clients through practical and realistic feedback and interventions. Her Christian counseling approach can be summed up by these biblical references: 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Romans 5:3-4.
Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Amanda worked for almost 10 years in the mental and behavioral health field helping children, teens, and adults with severe mental health issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. During her counseling internship, Amanda was a counselor for the Idaho National Guard, providing therapy services to soldiers and their families. She also provided therapy to adults and couples in a community setting.
Amanda currently sees clients through the Member Assistance Program (MAP), and via video counseling in Idaho and Minnesota.
