Specializes in sexual health, which includes treating deviant sexual behaviors, pornography addiction, and sex offense–specific treatment.
Alexis joined Christian Family Solutions in 2019. She has an MA in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and a BA in Psychology from Bethany Lutheran College. Alexis currently studies in the PsyD Counseling Psychology program at the University of St. Thomas.
Her experience includes counseling adults that have engaged in sexually harmful behaviors in both an individual and group setting, and treating mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. Alexis takes an eclectic approach to counseling, integrating concepts of existential psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, systematic therapy, and integrating faith and spirituality into the healing process.
