Career Benefits at CFS
How we reward employees for their good work.
We take a “Total Rewards” approach to our compensation and benefits package.
“Total rewards” encompasses all the rewards or reasons why someone would want to be a part of the Christian Family Solutions team. There are several components to this approach:
- Base compensation
- Benefits
- Salary increases and/or merit pay
- Non-monetary benefits (flexibility, camaraderie, sense of purpose/vocation, career path, etc.)
Base compensation
When we present you with your salary and benefits package, you’ll know exactly how many clients you need to see on average to maintain your status. You’ll keep in regular contact with your supervisor to ensure your schedule and your caseload is a good fit for you. We want you to be successful!

Balancing work and life
We want you to have ample time for rest, recuperation, vacations, holidays, and personal appointments. Paid Time Off (PTO) is offered to full-time employees and to part-time therapists who are scheduled to work 50+ hours per pay period (25 hours per week), according to an accrual schedule.
CFS incentives plan
CFS is currently developing an incentive plan with intention to introduce it to our employees in 2023. Incentives reward employees for reaching and exceeding goals set and discussed between the employee and his or her supervisor.
Non-monetary benefits
Modern psychology often seeks to separate faith and spirituality from treatment. Not here. We are distinctly CHRISTIAN. As such, we provide many opportunities for our employees to grow in their personal faith and grow together as colleagues in service to others. We celebrate and encourage excellence in clinical skills and evidence-based practices that produce great outcomes. We also foster spiritual growth, because we know that God works beyond human understanding to create the results He intends.
We also strive to live up to our name: FAMILY. You’ll find us supporting one another clinically, praying with each other and for each other, building each other up, and encouraging one another as we do the work God has placed before us.
SOLUTIONS are a phone call, an email, or a walk down the hall away. A team of 100+ mental health professionals means you are surrounded by a wide breadth and depth of experience. You can consult with your colleagues regarding your clinical work or areas of interest.
You’ll find that one of the best parts of working for an organization our size is the ability to focus on your clinical work. We are equipped with top-notch support staff who handle credentialing with third party payers, intake process, billing, authorizations, marketing, and other operations. This efficient infrastructure allows us to continue building expertise and deliver services with excellence.
You will grow professionally and spiritually here!
CFS is committed to our distinctly Christian approach to counseling care. To deliver this unique approach, we take training and continuing education seriously. Our Director of Training and Professional Development together with our organizational leaders and supervisors ensure that each clinician takes part in conversations about professional and spiritual growth. Our vision is for each CFS employee to have a Faith-Informed Professional Development plan in place.
Aspects of faith-informed professional development at CFS include:
- A credentialing department that helps you track and record the CEUs necessary to earn and keep your credentials
- Financial support for your CEUs
- Four inservices per year, including our annual CFS Counselors Retreat in person with all expenses paid
- Amplification of your voice through opportunities to write articles or give professional presentations
- Supervision and consultation opportunities with 100+ team members across CFS who have broad and deep clinical experience
- Time to participate in these opportunities because our billing and intake teams handle all scheduling, insurance verifications, and payments for our clinicians
In short, a career at Christian Family Solutions is more than a career. It’s a calling.
