Christian Family Solutions names program manager for ARMOR Day Treatment for Teens in Lakeville
LAKEVILLE, Minn. — Shiromi Beach, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, is the new program manager for ARMOR Day Treatment for Teens at the Lakeville location of Christian Family Solutions Counseling Care & Services. The ARMOR program provides intensive treatment to effectively manage depression, anxiety, trauma, or other serious mental health conditions.
Beach comes to CFS from private practice. Prior to that, she spent seven years working in adolescent partial hospitalization programming. She has five years of management experience with the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate of Concordia University-St. Paul.
ARMOR is a community-based day treatment program offered at the CFS Lakeville location, 8670 210th Street West. The program offers at least 15 hours of treatment five days per week with the accountability of a group setting. Enrolled clients receive treatment while remaining in their homes and communities. Community-based day treatment can be an important step before hospitalization or residential care is needed, or for those stepping down from hospitalization or residential care.
Christian Family Solutions has clinics in Mankato, Lakeville, and Rochester, Minn. Based in Germantown, Wis., CFS provides outpatient counseling, day treatment and intensive outpatient programs through its 50 clinics in 8 states as well as through telehealth. If clients so choose, CFS can integrate its evidence-based methods with Christian faith-based principles according to a client’s needs.
